The Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology is pleased to have reinforcements: Since 1 January, Prof. Dr-.Ing. Ali Kanso has held a professorship in robotics and supports us in teaching and research. A warm welcome to us!

Since 2015, Prof. Kanso has been working on various robotics topics at ZeMA (Centre for Mechatronics and Automation Technology). Thus, he led the Robotix Academy project and the Robotics and Human-Machine Interaction research group. Modelling and calibration of manipulators as well as sensitive and applied robotics are among his research interests. Prof. Kanso is looking forward to working with students and colleagues to answer the question of how to advance human-robot collaboration.
