Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt has developed the free application "THInk Green" as part of the knowledge transfer project "Mensch in Bewegung". This is intended to help citizens of the city of Ingolstadt and the districts of Eichstätt, Neuburg-Schrobenhausen and Pfaffenhofen a. d. Ilm to shape their lives more sustainably.

With the help of "THInk Green," users can quickly and easily obtain information on the topic of sustainability and the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals. To make their own consumption behavior more sustainable, the app provides simple and effective tips, for example on how to reduce packaging waste, avoid microplastics, or what to look out for when shopping. The application also provides answers to questions regarding sustainable mobility or how to renovate in a climate-friendly way.

Users also have the opportunity to test how sustainably they already live and where there is still potential. Those who like can make their answers available to their own district. In this way, communities can find out where citizens still see a need for action to make life in the region more sustainable.
