Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt (THI) has a new head of press department. Dr. Georg Schulz has been head of the THI's Marketing and Communications Department since 1 September. The state historian and graduate journalist is a graduate of the German School of Journalism. His journalistic career began as an intern at Donaukurier, radio IN and intv. After working in magazine journalism at the internationally active Condé Nast publishing house, Schulz worked in corporate communications and consulting at Bayerischer Rundfunk. After completing his doctorate in Bavarian history, he went into business for himself as a communications consultant in Regensburg, where he was most recently employed by an agency specialising in audiovisual PR. Now Schulz is back in his hometown and, in his own words, is looking forward to his new task of "helping to shape a future worth living for".
