New part-time study programmes with a focus on sustainability at IAW

New future fields and rapid technological and economic developments require constant further development and qualification. In many industries and companies, a degree is also a prerequisite for the next career stage. The Institute for Academic Continuing Education (IAW) at Ingolstadt University of Applied Sciences (THI) offers the opportunity to continue your professional education without having to forego a professional environment, a connection to practice and a regular income.

New study programmes for the winter semester 2023/24

The Master's programme in Green Engineering will start in the coming winter semester. The programme focuses on sustainable technical development and optimising the use of energy and resources. Specialists with these skills are in high demand in many industries.

In only two semesters, the new certificate in Entrepreneurial Sustainability Management teaches the basics of sustainable development and sustainability management. After completing the certificate, which also includes a practical project with a view to application orientation, participants are in a position to sustainably align various business areas.

The new Master Cyber Security Engineer focuses on important aspects of cyber security and addresses the great need for expertise in the IT sector. In particular, participants are also familiarised with current technologies and sensitised to topics such as social responsibility.

The two new internationally oriented Master's programmes Global Engineering Management and Global Management are aimed at interested students who are seeking a recognised academic degree at a German university and an international career. The lectures are held in English and predominantly digitally. Important topics such as digital engineering and innovation management as well as contact with internationally operating companies are integral parts of the programme.
