The AIRTEC trade fair in Munich is the international trade fair for aerospace suppliers. Numerous exhibitors present their products and services there, including the Ingolstadt Mobility Region, represented by the Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt (THI), its AN Institute AININ (the Artificial Intelligence Network Ingolstadt gGmbH) and the UAM initiative of the City of Ingolstadt.

Ingolstadt and the region are part of the "Urban Air Mobility" initiative (UAM). The initiative, which is supported by the European Commission, is conducting practical studies to research the use and possible applications of air vehicles for urban mobility.

From Tuesday, 26 October, to Thursday, 28 October, AIRTEC in Munich offers an overall view of the complete supply chain of the aerospace industry and shows the shortest connection from engineering via production, components and systems to lifecycle support and safety requirements.
