"The Other Side of Design. Anton Stankowski and the Next Generation" is the title of the exhibition currently on show at the Museum für Konkrete Kunst (MKK) in Ingolstadt. As part of the Ingolstadt Year of Science 2022, the MKK is showing works by students of  THI alongside the work of the influential designer and concrete painter. In the juxtaposition, it becomes obvious that the invention of form follows the same principles despite technical progress.

There is an extensive accompanying programme. On Thursday, 7 July, exhibition curator Marie-Luise Heske will ask the question "Does creative idea generation also need the courage to fail?" To answer this, the two THI professors Dr Bernhard Rothbucher and Ingrid Stahl are invited to the digital talk. It starts at 7 pm and participation is free of charge. Zoom access data is available at www.mkk-ingolstadt.de.

On Saturday, 16 July, from 3 to 3.30 p.m., and on more occasion ahead (please check the museum website) THI students Sascha Bralic, Lea Olejniczak and Julia Fuchs will give insights into their exhibited works, reflect on the creative process and talk about the cooperation between the museum and the university as part of the "Werk + Gespräch" event series.
