Twelve school students took the opportunity to get a taste of university life as part of the "Unitag" project at the THI Business School. Prof. Dr. Elisabeth Zellner (teaching area: Accounting and International Tax Law) led the group through a business game on entrepreneurship and start-up founding. In a group work, they went through all the relevant steps - from the product idea to a successful company. Prof. Dr. Kathrin Tissot-Daguette (teaching area: Biotechnology and Management) demonstrated with a use case (leukaemia disease) the importance of life science management. The corresponding bachelor's degree has been offered at the THI Business School for two years. At the end, the participants gained insights from Prof. Dr. Christian Locher (teaching area: Digital Business) into working with chatbots and experienced the consequences of certain changes in the development environment.

The Unitag project gives particularly talented high school students the opportunity to attend institutions of higher education one day a week. The THI offers this program for the first time in 2023. The aim is to provide an overview of the various areas of study and to help with orientation.

The THI Business School's degree programs are listed at the following link: https://www.thi.de/go/business-school. Applications for the upcoming winter semester are possible until July 15, 2023.
