Developing and pushing innovative ideas, also when management doesn't encourage them or is even opposed to them - employees, especially in large companies, only succeed in doing this if they pursue their goal on their own. To explore this phenomenon more closely, Prof. Dr. Peter Augsdörfer, Professor of Management Strategy, Technology and Innovation Management at THI Business School, held an international symposium on "Underground Creativity & Innovation". Together with experts from Europe, the USA, China and Taiwan, he discussed in the online conference which opportunities arise for companies through "underground" activities of their employees and how companies can best use and leverage them for themselves.

The symposium took place as part of the United Nations Creativity & Innovation Day and was aimed at scientists from all over the world.
