Prof. Sinha and Prof. Augsdörfer host UNESCO workshop in The Gambia

In The Gambia, Prof. Dr. Tanja Sinha and Prof. Dr. Peter Augsdörfer from the THI Business School hosted a three-day UNESCO workshop for innovation management and entrepreneurship. Its aim was to teach representatives from ministries and universities of the Sahel Region of West Africa how to benefit from innovativeness in order to be more competitive and create employment. The participants are supposed to share the knowledge they gained from the workshop among the region and thus to strengthen the local economy.

The economic situation in Western Africa is one of the worst in the world and the reason for many refugees to come to Europe.
