Anyone who wishes to be admitted to the above examinations or performance assessments must register in the proper manner and within the set deadline. The registration must indicate the subjects in which the candidate wishes to sit the examination. Registration is only valid for the next examination date. If a student wishes to be admitted to re-site an examination or to sit an examination initially missed, they must re-apply. Without proper registration within the set deadline, an examination to which a student has not been expressly admitted is deemed not to have been taken; the Examination Committee decides on exceptions, unless this responsibility is assigned to the relevant Examination Commission in the Study and Examination Regulations.
Registration for the examinations and performance assessments offered by THI in each semester takes place each semester within the period stated in the schedule (also for performance assessments taken during the current semester – such as degree assignments, projects, internships, presentations, PLVs –and also vhb examinations if these are included in the THI examination programme!)
Registration is carried out online using the above link (note: the URL is only active during the registration period). In this connection, please also note the information provided on the FAQ page relating to online examination registration.
In order to avoid any later inconsistencies in the registration process, you are required to print out online examination registrations as documentary evidence. Only on submission of a slip bearing an automatically generated, individual verification number is it possible to recognise subsequent complaints (e.g. due to data transmission errors). Evidence of belated examination registrations is issued on request by the Examinations Office.
If you are unable to complete online examination registration in spite of repeated attempts, please get in touch with the Service Center for Study Affairs (Examination Department).
The completed and signed registration form must then be submitted to the Service Center for Study Affairs within the examination registration period.
Please be sure to take note of the following: “Withdrawing from examinations”, “Re-sit deadlines” and “Discontinuation of grade five notifications”, as well as the extract from the THI General Examination Regulations!
Please check the accuracy of your registrations by the end of the examination registration period at the latest!
Any incorrect registrations or failures to register can be corrected provided students report them immediately to the Service Center for Study Affairs (Examination Department) at THI. If you do not meet this obligation to cooperate, you will be held responsible!
