THI Center of Entrepreneurship hosted the international conference I3PM Meets Academia 2018

THI Center of Entrepreneurship was happy to host the international conference „I3PM Meets Academia“. The year 2018 conference targeted “Intellectual Property Management Challenges in Entrepreneurial Environments”. One part of the conference was focusing on IP challenges from a Startup´s perspective. The other part was dedicated to IP challenges from a corporate entrepreneurship perspective. In a final loop speakers, panelists and participants finalized in gathering a common view and still open questions and future challenges. Experts were coming e.g. from Siemens Next 47, High-Tech Gründerfonds, Philips Intellectual Property & Standards, BASF SE, Boehringer Ingelheim International, Charité-Universitätsmedizin Berlin, AO Foundation Davos, LMU, TUM, KIT, Fujitsu Technology Solutions, Renault, SAP, Thomson Reuters, the French IP Office, the European Patent Office and Ingoldstadt´s digital accelerator “brigk”.

The International Institute for Intellectual Property Management (I3PM) is an association of Intellectual Property (IP) Managers dedicated to promote the field of IP Management and thereby to enhance the emergence of a dynamic IP-driven economy. Most of the members are former alumni of the renowned international IP management executive master programme at CEIPI Strasbourg, France. The non-profit organisation gathers managers from diverse international corporations, organisations and academia, forming a unique experience pool in the management and realisation of value from immaterial assets.

„I3PM Meets Academia 2018“ conference has been organised in cooperation with and hosted by the Center of Entrepreneurship (CoE) at Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt, Germany (THI) headed by Martin Bader, professor for technology management and entrepreneurship and director of the CoE.
