Please keep to the rules – this is the only way we can all get through this difficult time

Rules of behavior

From now on an unlimited mask obligation applies in the entire library - this also applies to the workplaces. Every user of the library is obligated to wear a mask. For eating and drinking, the mask can be removed.

Group study rooms and relaxation room are closed. Printer, book scanner and PC-Pool (entry for maximum 9 persons) may still be used during the opening hours.

The current distance regulations (1.5 meters) have to be observed at any time.

Prohibition of entry

Persons who meet the following criteria (requirements of the Robert Koch Institute) are not allowed to enter the THI and thus also the library:

  1. People suffering from COVID-19
  2. Persons who knowingly had contact with a confirmed COVID-19 patient within the last 14 days (contact persons of category I and II)
  3. Individuals who have symptoms that may indicate COVID-19 disease, e.g: fever, dry cough, respiratory problems, loss of sense of taste/odor, sore throat and aching limbs
  4. Persons who are obliged to go into domestic quarantine according to the currently valid entry quarantine regulation.
