With the start of the winter semester 20/21 the library opening hours are extended. Since October 1st 2020 THI-members (students, employees) are able to use the library from Monday to Sunday between 6 am and 12 pm.
Access to the library
Due to the opening for external users, the library can (from Monday, October 12th 2020) also be accessed via the main entrance during our service hours. Outside service hours the library can only be accessed via students’ entrance (turnstile vis-à-vis mensa) as usual.
Compulsory registration at the reading room
Please note that when you start using the library, you must register with the attached QR Codes on the tables respectively doors (carrels). Of course, you will have to log off after the usage.
Technical issues or forgot your phone? In these cases, you are obliged to register immediately after using the library.
Compulsory registration at the ServicePoint
If you need advice at the ServicePoint, you are also obliged to register. At the beginning of the consulation you have to register and after the consulation you have to deregister.

The seat reservation from last semester will be maintained. This means: if you want to make sure to get a seat, you should use the booking system via THI app. You can choose one time slot per day. Per week you can make a maximum of five reservations.

The ServicePoint is occupied from Monday to Friday between 10 am and 4 pm. Outside service hours you can write an e-mail to email@example.com or use the contact form on the website of the library.
