We are pleased to provide counselling ranging from general, initial orientation through to specific questions on the application procedure at THI. Here we cordially invite you to attend our regular open information and counselling sessions for school students and those considering taking a study held during each semester, where we will be glad to answer all your questions!
Are you interested in taking up mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, engineering and business or another bachelor's Programm at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering? If so, please take the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Online Self Assessment (OSA). This will help you judge how well the study in question matches your needs.
What are dual studies, which models exist and which companies do we collaborate with? We will be glad to answer these and other questions at a special counselling session. Mind though that taking on dual stuides is somewhat compicated for international students, so most offers will be of interest for German students only. If you're interested, simply arrange an appointment with us by e-mail.
Are you interested in taking a one of the following bachelor's degree courses at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering?
If so, please take the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering's Online Self Assessment (OSA) (German language!) in advance. This will help you judge how well the study in question matches your needs.
In addition to questions on key topic areas in the field of mechanical engineering, you will also find useful information on the structure of the program, job prospects and the place of study.
Our assessment is not meant as a conclusive evaluation but simply aims to provide feedback as to how we see your aptitude in terms of getting off to a successful start. We want to help you make the right decision.
here, you will find further details on the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.
It is a good idea to be well prepared when you start a study. Experience indicates that not all those embarking on a study have sound mastery of the basic subjects. Either it is a long time since they went to school or their grades in subjects such as maths and physics were not in the top bracket. To avoid difficulties and ensure an optimum start, it is urgently recommended that you should check your own basic knowledge and take a refresher course if necessary.
Here you will find further information (courses, target group, registration) on bridge courses at THI. They are being organised by the VHS Ingolstadt and taught in German. Registration starts about six months before the semester starts.
