Scholarships are generally awarded by organisations for the promotion of gifted students, confessional/private foundations, commercial enterprises or by the Ingolstadt University of Technology itself (THI Talent). Aufstiegsstipendium – the study grant for experienced professionals
As of now, the online application for the "Aufstiegsstipendium" - the study grant for experienced professionals - is open again. Prospective students and students can apply for an advancement scholarship until 06 June 2022.
The funding program of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research supports professionals with vocational training and several years of practical experience in a first academic university studies. Detailed information can be found at www.aufstiegsstipendium.de.
Applications are possible before the start of studies and up to the end of the second semester. Over 1,000 advancement scholarships are awarded annually.
A full-time study program is supported monthly with 861 euros plus 80 euros book allowance. In addition, there is a care allowance for children under 14 (150 euros for each child). For part-time students, the subsidy amounts to 2,700 euros per calendar year. The benefits are a lump sum and are not dependent on income.
