Subsidy Controlling (F-MC)
The Controlling Department is responsible for the administrative processing of the grant projects. Starting with the review of the funding decision and extending to the project conclusion, this includes all aspects of fund management. In particular, it includes ongoing project financial controlling, calls for funding, numerical proofs and advising researchers on project- or grant-specific questions regarding personnel, material expenses, investments or travel. The aim is to ensure audit-proof processing, which keeps an eye on possible changes in collaboration with the researchers throughout the entire project life cycle, implements these changes promptly and professionally and efficiently designs the necessary interaction processes with the funding agency. In the case of complex projects, the specifics of funding and processing are also coordinated with other central departments of THI.
