Communications for Autonomuous Drones

Autonomous drones require a reliable communication of command & control information and mission-speicifc data as well as   high-performance sensors. A drone operation Beyond Visual Line of Sight  (BVLOS) of a pilot is required for many civil use cases, but puts high demands on the communication between drone and ground station. The research addresses communication and sensor technologies for autonomuous drones and carries out experimental studies for BVLOS flights.
