The Integration Campus prepares you for studies or the working world with language courses in German and English. Courses in engineering, business and IT are also available. In addition to that, intercultural content and project management is also offered. We assist with the organisation of internship placements. In order to improve your German skills outside the classroom also, you will become acquainted with German students and language godparents. Find the curriculum here.
To participate in the Integration Campus, the following requirements must be met:
- You must be a refugee. Refugees from safe countries of origin and refugees from transit centers cannot apply.
- You must have a qualification that corresponds to a university entrance qualification in Germany. For this purpose, certificates must be submitted to uni-assist for review. Please contact us for further information.
- English level A2 at a minimum is a requirement and must be proven by means of a certificate. If you are not in possession of such a certificate, you can complete the onSET Test https://refugees.onset.de/en/. Refugees can take the onSET Test free of charge. The result of the onSET test must be submitted with your application for the Integration Campus.
- The result of the onSET test must be English level A2 at a minimum. Should you not achieve this, the test can be retried once more after six months only. We therefore strongly advise you to view the sample test on the onSET website.
The participants of the Integration Campus live in centrally located accommodation, provided by the city of Ingolstadt. The Ingolstadt city centre as well as Technische Hochschule are within easy reach. Male and female participants live in separate accommodations.
The duration of the Integration Campus is 4 semesters, i.e. 2 years. You can also terminate the programme sooner if you change to a regular course of study or have found a job.
You can either switch to regular studies in Germany or enter the working world.
Please note that your certificates must be verified by uni-assist. Documents must be submitted to uni-assist by no later than 01 June 2018. Verification can take approx. 4-6 weeks. Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt must be in possession of the result of your examination by no later than 15 July 2018. Verification of certificates at uni-assist is free of charge for refugees. For this purpose a certificate from Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt is required, which can be issued after a consultation.
The consultation can take place in person or by telephone. Please note that it is not possible to apply for the THI Integration Campus at uni-assist. Kindly apply for a Bachelor Programme at THI.
